Of these, I upload to nyaa.pantsu.cat and nyaa.si. Nyaa.pantsu.cat refuses to remove my old outdated torrents, and I have no ability to edit remove them myself. Nyaa.si removed my old torrents, but blocks me from reuploading. As such, until the admins of these sites get their heads out of their asses, I recommed acquiring my older releases from anirena.com, anidex.info, or acgnx.se. I have not remade all of my old torrents yet, but I’ve remade most of them. Project notes: When I captured Cathexis, I was under the impression that its “prequel,” Desperate Love 1989, was available on DVD, mostly because anidb.net claimed that aarinfantasy’s sub of this was from DVD. It isn’t. It appears that Bronze, the final animated chapter of this story, is the only part released on DVD. How sad. I should note that the same website claims that the ancient pre-digital Technogirls fansub of this was from a VHS source. This, too, is incorrect. I should know: I’m the one who acquired the laserdisc for Technogirls back in the day. If you like big dumb overblown drama, like I do, Desperate Love 1989 is a must-see. This is a story of one man’s lust and obsession for another man with a deeply troubled past. I showed this to my girlfriend once – she’s used to the concepts of dakimakura and character shrines and that sort of thing from exposure to me, but she’s what you’d call a “normie,” with zero interest in the japtoons. She was curious about the whole yaoi thing, after I explained it to her. Well, she was pretty well horrified by this title. And I kinda see her point: You could easily read this as a sort of horror story. However you interpret this one though, it is worth watching. The laserdisc quality is excellent, but a touch on the dark side. Filtered X264 conversion and untouched high-bitrate DVD conversion included.
